Hockey Ballarat apologise for the short notice and the rearrangement of the finals dates due to extreme weather conditions. Hockey Ballarat will continue to place player safety above all other considerations when fixturing matches.

2011 WESTVIC HOCKEY U 17 Trials
If you are UNDER 17 on Jan. 1, 2011 then you are invited to trail for the 2011 WestVic Hockey Squads.
U 17 Boys and Girls play in Hockey Victoria competition, on Friday nights through the months of the Hockey season. Home games are played in Ballarat, away games played in Melbourne. WESTVIC Hockey is a representative program that gives players for the western Victoria region the opportunity to play in age specific competition.
TRIALS will be held for the 2011 Squads on:
SUNDAY 7 November Bendigo Bank BALLARAT HOCKEY CENTRE 10.00 am – 12.00 noon

2010 - 2012 Junior Development Plan ReleasedJunior Development Plan Released The Hockey Ballarat Junior Development plan can be found here Introduction During the past 3 years (2007 – 2009) it has been noted that the number of junior hockey players and teams had been steadily declining. In response to this Hockey Ballarat has applied for and received funding from the Victorian State Government to review the structure of all junior programs, competitions and opportunities that are currently provided by the association Hockey Ballarat. The review also included a desktop analysis of other junior development programs from across This review has produced a Junior Development Plan 2010-2012 that will provide direction for Hockey Ballarat’s junior program. The Hockey Ballarat Committee have reviewed the draft Junior Development Plan in February 2010 and look to adopt the recommendations in April 2010.The intent is to begin implement the findings from this plan during the 2010 season |
